Happy 100th birthday, Yul Brynner! We were watching the ending of “The
Magnificent Seven” again the other day (did I mention how I have the
most patient family anyone can ask for? Because I do haha :’)), and we
talked about how Yul inspired generations of kids to adopt, among other
things, his famous walk, shooting straight from the hip, all his
movements a kind of contrapposto in reverse, tensed and relaxed all in
equal parts.
